Ron Keeping has overseen Vectren Corporation’s economic development efforts for more than 20 years and has been a key player in many of the largest industrial relocation and expansion projects within the company’s Indiana and Ohio service area.
He began his career in the utility business as Manager of Area and Industrial Development at SIGECO, a Vectren predecessor company, before assuming the role of Director of Economic Development at Vectren in 1999.
Keeping currently serves on numerous economic and workforce development boards at both the local and statewide levels and assists these organizations with their business attraction and retention projects.
He received a BA in Economics and an MBA from the University of Evansville. He is also a graduate of the Economic Development Institute at the University of Oklahoma and is a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD).
