Vectren’s Economic Development staff works hand-in-hand with companies to meet their energy needs and can serve as a single point of contact within Vectren during the site selection process. Some of the services Vectren Economic Development offers include:

- Providing guidance with regards to qualifying for Vectren’s Area Development and Economic Development Riders
- Conducting confidential site and community tours
- Creating customized lists of available sites and buildings, and
- Generating comprehensive demographic reports for defined target areas
Vectren Economic Development works closely with its many economic development allies at the state and local levels. Vectren markets in partnership with its allies – participating in national tradeshows and listing properties on its sites and buildings database – and can conduct confidential economic impact analysis studies for major projects. In addition, Vectren provides financial support to its partners for professional development opportunities.
